After of Bones and Ashes, I was able to interview Snook, who brought his tank to play for Red team, but kindly switched to Blue to even out the tanks on the teams. I personally acted as a tank walker twice and then got to gun for this guy. It was a blast. Per the Rules for the event, this was a 4 wheeled human push tank.
Was this your first time building a walking paintball tank and or your first event with a paintball tank?
What materials was your tank primarily built out of? What did you use for wheels?
For wheel just go to harbor freight and get 8in wheel my first 2 tanks were made out of pcv piping the new one tim from 13th made is made out of wood.
How did you transport it? Did it collapse or come apart for travel?
No, just in the back of a truck with straps.
After it using it at Bones & Ashes, what improvement or changes would you make?
None! It worked amazing and I was happy with it.
Beyond the required 2 people for the tank per event rules, how many people could you fit in tank?
We could get up to four people in the tank but it operated best with a crew of three.
What challenges did you face with your tank on the field?
Mud!
Did you guys find yourselves more often eliminated or run out deployment time?
Time mostly.
Did your tank last the event?
Yes, and now it will be making a trip to Florida
